Man accused of rape resulting in teen pregnancy

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A 27-year-old Bowling Green man is charged with multiple crimes including rape and porn-related offenses after a 15-year-old accused the man of raping her resulting in pregnancy.

Deputies opened the two-month investigation after a 15-year-old pregnant girl said the father of her baby is an adult, according to a release from the sheriff’s office.

Obander Khan, 27, is charged with third-degree rape, two counts of prohibited use of electronic communications system to procure a minor in reference to sex offenses, four counts of distribution of obscene matter to minors first offense and one count of first-degree sexual abuse.

Deputies said they determined that Khan had sexual contact with the teen two different times, according to the release. They also said Khan was using electronic devices to send sexual matter to both minors.

Deputies identified a second victim, a 16-year-old girl in Minnesota, according to the release.

Khan admitted to deputies that he sent the Minnesota girl three videos of obscene material, according to his arrest citation. A deputy also wrote in the citation that Khan admitted to touching the Bowling Green teen’s genitalia.

The investigation is ongoing.

Khan is lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail. Bond has not been set.
