Bowling Green man accused of raping 11-year-old girl
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- A Bowling Green man is behind bars, accused of raping a juvenile.
James Joy, 40, is charged with first-degree rape and first-degree sodomy, both on a victim under 12-years-old.
According to an arrest citation, the 11-year-old girl told Bowling Green police that Joy raped her numerous times.
Police said when Joy was arrested, he provided several conflicting statements.
Joy is lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail. He’s being held on a $10,000 bond.
