Bowling Green Hot Rods giving free admission to anyone named “Karen”
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Is your name Karen? Then you might hear a lot of jokes and insults, but a local sports team is trying to help make amends with people named Karen by giving them free tickets to a baseball game.
The Bowling Green Hot Rods are hosting a Karen Night at the park inviting anyone with the name to come out and enjoy a free baseball game.
The Hot Rods will have a complaint booth set up where anyone can come and complain about any topic, from complaints about your dogs chewing up your shoes to a restaurant burning your food.
Some people on social media have enjoyed the idea while others have, well, acted like a Karen about it.
But Eric Leach, the general manager of the Bowling Green Hot Rods wants everyone to know they are doing it all in fun and hope to spread a little love to any and all Karens.
Karen Night will be held on June 3 when the Hot Rods play the Rome Braves.
The first pitch will be that night at 6:35 p.m.
