Barren County Nursing and Rehab asking for prayers from community

BARREN CO., Ky.- Barren County Nursing and Rehabilitation is asking the community for extra prayers due to an increase in COVID-19 cases at their facility.

They are holding a prayer circle on Thursday at 2pm in the front parking lot of the facility, but said they hope people pray from wherever they are on that day.

WNKY News talked with the administrator of the facility who said that shortly after the new year began, they saw a sharp rise in cases, which they assume is due to the holiday gatherings.

The staff wants to reach out to the community and those who believe in the power of prayer to influence good outcomes. They also want to support the healthcare heroes at the facility and shine light on the tremendous sacrifices that the workers make everyday.
