Barren County man arrested on child sexual exploitation offenses

GLASGOW, Ky. – One Barren County man is facing several charges related to child sexual abuse material.

The Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested Kaven T. Eder, 21, yesterday following an undercover online investigation.

The Kentucky State Police say the KSP Electronic Crime Branch investigated further after they say Eder allegedly shared images of child sexual exploitation online.

On Thursday, the investigation resulted in a search warrant at a residence in Glasgow. KSP says they seized equipment used in the crime for further examination.

Eder is in the Barren County Detention Center, where he faces charges of three counts of distribution of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance under 12 years old and one count of possession of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance under 12 years old.

The investigation is ongoing.
