Barren County man accused of operating suspected meth lab

GLASGOW, Ky.- A Barren County man accused of operating a suspected meth lab is behind bars.

Danny Neal, 48, is charged with manufacturing methamphetamine.

According to the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force, detectives uncovered the operation in an outbuilding in the 2000 block of Browning School Rd. on Friday.

Detectives said they located a generator, tubing, chemicals and other equipment used to manufacture methamphetamine.

Neal is being held inside the Barren County Detention Center.
