Barren County authorities track down woman accused of stabbing

GLASGOW, Ky.- After more than a month of searching, authorities in Barren County have tracked down a woman whose accused of stabbing another woman.

Brooke Pierce, 26, is charged with first-degree assault. She was arrested last Friday.

According to the Barren County Sheriff’s Office, Pierce stabbed the woman at a residence on Tompkinsville Road on the morning of December 7.

Pierce is lodged in the Barren County Detention Center. She’s being held on a $10,000 bond. Her next court appearance is scheduled for January 23.
