Allen County woman arrested on drug charges

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – An Allen County woman is behind bars on drug charges.

According to the Kentucky State Police on Friday, troopers received information resulting in the arrest of 33-year-old Johnna Blankenship of Scottsville.

Authorities say a preliminary investigation led to a search warrant for Blankenship’s residence, resulting in multiple charges.

Blankenship faces charges of first-degree possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl), possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), first offense, possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified), first offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Blankenship was lodged at the Allen County Detention Center and has since been released, according to jail records. The investigation is ongoing.
