Man accused of burglary and auto theft
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is accused of breaking into a home, stealing a set of keys and taking his step mother’s car.
The Warren County Sheriff’s Office was called Monday afternoon to Castle Peak Court where a woman reported her stepson, who did not have permission to be inside her home, came inside, took the keys to her car and drove off in it.
Deputies later found the car while driving down Neal Howell Road.
Rondel Emberton, 27, was taken into custody and charged with second-degree burglary and theft by unlawful taking of an automobile valued at $10,000 or more but less than $1 million, according to his arrest citation. He was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail. His bond is set at $6,000.
