FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky’s governor says the state can beat the president’s timetable for offering COVID-19 vaccinations to every adult wanting one. Gov. Andy Beshear was upbeat about the pace of vaccinations as the state reached an inoculation milestone Monday. The governor headlined an event celebrating the 1 millionth Kentuckian to receive at least the first dose of coronavirus vaccine. Beshear says he expects Kentucky can meet the president’s goal of every adult who wants a shot getting one by the end of May. He says Kentucky can beat the goal of opening up vaccinations to every adult by the first of May.
