MANCHESTER, England (AP) — Manchester United prevailed 2-0 to halt City’s winning run at 21 matches in all competitions. The most important number to City manager Pep Guardiola though is 11. That’s the points advantage first-place City holds over second-place United. United’s challenge has crumbled but not as spectacularly as Liverpool’s title defense. Liverpool lost 1-0 against Fulham. The sixth successive home defeat left the champions 22 points from the leaders in eighth place. But Tottenham has recovered to close the gap on fourth-place Chelsea to two points after beating Crystal Palace 4-1.
