Glasgow off-road tire company announced expansion plans

An off-road tire re-manufacturing and retreading company based in Glasgow has announced plans to expand.

BR Retreading will invest $6.6 million on a new facility, which will create 75 full-time jobs. The company currently employs 89 people in Glasgow.

The company will construct the new facility in Glasgow’s Highland Glen Industrial Park. 

Founded in 1996, the company is a third generation, family-owned provider of re-manufacturing and retreading products and services to the mining, agricultural, construction and other industries using off-road tires and equipment.
