Glasgow woman arrested and charged with 70 counts of animal cruelty

GLASGOW, Ky.- A Glasgow woman is behind bars after being charged with 70 counts of 2nd-degree cruelty to animals.
According to Glasgow police, Glasgow-Barren County Animal Control responded to a complaint on Goodnight Terrance Road in Cave City.
Authorities say they found 28 dead chickens and 1 dead cat, along with 19, chickens, 11 cats and 11 dogs that appeared to be neglected and malnourished.
Heather Gillock, 29, was charged and arrested.
She is lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
