Police charge man with felony drug possession
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Monday, Bowling Green police arrested a man wanted on an active warrant and now, he’s also facing drug possession charges.
According to the arrest citation, police responded to Abel Court Apartments on an attempt to locate.
They say Jefty Meredith, 30, of Bowling Green, answered the door and was placed in custody.
Inside Meredith’s right pant pocket he had a plastic bag with marijuana in it and in his left pocket, a glass meth pipe with white residue inside it, according to hiss arrest citation.
Meredith was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail on first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
