Five indicted in case involving burglary of local judge’s home

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Warren County grand jury Wednesday indicted five people in a case involving the burglary, theft and receiving of stolen guns from Warren District Judge Sam Potter’s Nashville Road home in December.
James Ray Cole, 32; Dzevad Keco, 36; and Megan Arnold, 32, were indicted on first-degree burglary and other charges. Monty Joe Cox, 41, and Gary Allen Richey, 53, were indicted on charges of first-degree receiving stolen property (firearms) in the same case.
Sometime between Dec. 11 and Dec. 14, Cole, Keco and Arnold are accused of breaking into Potter’s home and stealing numerous firearms. Cox and Richey are accused of receiving the property knowing it was stolen, according to their indictments.
All but Arnold are also facing drug charges. The Bowling Green-Warren County Drug Task Force investigated the case.
