Transportation officials release latest update on flooded roads

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is sharing the latest status of roads impacted by flooding that occurred Friday through Sunday.

According to transportation officials, as of Wednesday, July 1, multiple roads remain impassable due to flooding.

The list below does not contain city or county-maintained roads that could also be impassable, officials say.

Drivers should not try to drive through possible high water or drive around or move barricades and signs.

Barren County

  • KY 740 – Closed at mile point 13.7

Butler County

  • Reeds Ferry – Closed
  • Rochester Ferry – Closed

Edmonson County

  • KY 187 Mile Point 3.0- The bridge over Sunfish Creek has been damaged and is closed until an assessment can be conducted and repairs can be made.
  • KY 655 – Closed at mile point 2 to 3

Logan County

  • KY 1153 – REOPENED

Metcalfe County

  • KY 1048 – Closed at mile point 0.3
