Man shot Sunday night in Bowling Green

Police believe the man who pulled the trigger was Cedric Donan, 20.

Police have issued an arrest warrant for first-degree assault stemming from Sunday night’s incident.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Police in Bowling Green are searching for the man who shot another man in the leg late Sunday night.

The shooting occurred outside a residence in the 1400 block of N. Sunrise Ave.

According to an incident report, two men were fighting in the front yard when one of the men pulled out a weapon and shot the other man in the inner thigh.

The shooting victim, James Smith, was taken to the Medical Center at Bowling Green for treatment.

A witness told police that the suspect fled the home in a dark-colored Chevy HHR with four other individuals inside the vehicle.
