Man shot Wednesday night in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- An investigation is ongoing after a man was shot late Wednesday night in Bowling Green.

The shooting occurred in front of a residence in the 2000 block of Wiltshire Drive.

According to a Bowling Green police incident report, Troy McFarland was exiting his vehicle when an individual wearing a mask and dark colored clothing opened fired at McFarland.

McFarland was able to run away from the scene and ended up at a home in the 600 block of Jennings Drive. Police were then notified.

Police found multiple bullet holes on the exterior of the home on Jennings Drive. The people inside the home at the time of the shooting were not injured.

McFarland was taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
