Warren County Sheriff outlines 2020 vision
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – After releasing his first annual report for 2019, Sheriff Brett Hightower is looking forward to making further improvements to the Sheriff’s office throughout the rest of 2020.
Wednesday, at a Bowling Green Rotary Club meeting, Hightower spoke on the annual report of 2019 and the expectations for 2020 saying a branding change is coming soon.
According to Hightower, the Sheriff’s vehicles will be re-striped in a few months.
He also says the pay for deputies will change to incentivize individuals to stay on the force.
The pay will go up first after four years and again after seven years, each raise also requiring the deputy to pass a physical test as well.
Hightower also says they will have four deputies graduate from the academy over the summer and is excited to add new members to his force.
