Tobacco barn a total loss after Christian County fire

PEMBROKE, Ky. – A fire in Christian County resulted in the total loss of a tobacco barn.

According to the Pembroke Fire Department, units responded to a structure fire Saturday afternoon.

When units arrived, they located the tobacco barn fully involved.

Officials say firefighters extinguished the blaze, preventing it from spreading to nearby structures.

The tobacco barn is considered a total loss.
