KSP releases funeral, procession details for Trooper Hayden Phillips

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WNKY) — Kentucky State Police has released visitation and funeral arrangements for Trooper Hayden Phillips, along with the procession route that will carry him from Bowling Green to Glasgow for burial this weekend.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Oct. 3, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. CST at Living Hope Baptist Church, 1805 Westen St. in Bowling Green.
Funeral set for Sunday
Phillips’ funeral will take place Sunday, Oct. 4, at noon CST at E.A. Diddle Arena on Western Kentucky University’s campus, 1605 Avenue of Champions in Bowling Green.
Interment will immediately follow the funeral at Fort Williams/Glasgow Municipal Cemetery, 303 Leslie Ave. in Glasgow.
Procession will travel from Bowling Green to Glasgow
Kentucky State Police say the public is welcome to show their support for Phillips’ family by gathering along the funeral procession route.
The procession will leave E.A. Diddle Arena and travel along Avenue of Champions before turning onto University Boulevard.
It will continue as University Boulevard becomes Kentucky Street, then follow the U.S. 68 corridor through Bowling Green toward Louisville Road and KY-446 East.
From there, the procession will merge onto Interstate 65 North before taking Exit 43 onto the Louie B. Nunn Cumberland Parkway toward Glasgow and Somerset.
Route through Glasgow
The procession will continue east on the Louie B. Nunn Cumberland Parkway before taking Exit 8 toward KY-3600, KY-90, Glasgow and Cave City.
It will then turn left onto KY-3600, also known as the Glasgow Outer Loop, before turning right onto New Bowling Green Road and West Main Street.
The procession will continue along West Main Street, turn right onto Leslie Avenue and proceed to Glasgow Cemetery at 303 Leslie Ave.
