Suspects in Mason Moulding case indicted on new charges

ALLEN COUNTY, Ky. – It has been nearly two months into the investigation of the death of 1-year-old Mason Moulding, the child who allegedly died due to extreme neglect in Allen County. 

Wednesday, Sept. 23, the three suspects in the case came before the Allen County grand jury.

To refresh your memory, Moulding was identified as the 1- year-old who was found unresponsive on Cottage Drive in Scottsville. He was then transported to a local hospital, where he later died.

Deavon Williams has been indicted for first-degree criminal abuse to a child 13 and under and for one count of intentional murder. 

The mother of Mason, Alexandrae Price, has been indicted for first-degree manslaughter, an upcharge for her. She was first charged with first-degree criminal abuse of a child 12 and under.

Tina Price, Alexandrae Price’s mother, has been indicted for first-degree criminal abuse of a child 12 and under, over 10 counts of second-degree cruelty to animals and two counts of knowingly abuse and neglect of an adult by person.

“My office is very committed to achieving justice for Mason and we’re going to work diligently on this case. There are still additional aspects of this case that will be evaluated in the upcoming months and so we’re very much committed to making sure that appropriate justice is served in this case,” said Attorney Michael Lindsey.

The case will now be taken over by the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office.
