State police searching for Mayfield woman missing since August

MAYFIELD, Ky. – Kentucky State Police Post 1 troopers are searching for a missing woman.

On Sept. 16, the family of 80-year-old Ethelene Moss contacted KSP about her whereabouts.

KSP says Moss is a black female with black hair and brown eyes. She is approximately 5’5″ and weighs 165 pounds.

The family told troopers they last heard from Moss on Aug. 18.

KSP says Moss last lived on South 2nd Street. Moss’ family says she may be staying at a local hotel.
