Winning $50,000 Powerball ticket sold in Russellville

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – One lucky winner in Russellville bought a winning Powerball ticket worth $50,000, lottery officials say.

According to the Kentucky Lottery, the ticket was sold at a Marathon gas station at 1120 Sportsman Club Road in Russellville.

Lottery officials say the Monday, Sept. 21 winning numbers were two, seven, nine, 17, 58 and a Powerball of 20.

The Kentucky Lottery advises winners of physical lottery tickets to sign the back and keep tickets in a secure location. Lottery prizes can be claimed at Kentucky Lottery headquarters at 1011 W. Main St. in Louisville.

The current Powerball jackpot is estimated at $332 million. The next drawing will take place Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 11 p.m. EST.

Winners have 180 days to claim their prize.
