No threat found after lockdown at Bowling Green Independent Schools

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Police Department says there was no threat to area schools on Friday.
Police say they responded to a call Friday reporting a person with a weapon on Campbell Lane.
Authorities say the report caused the schools in the area to lock down.
Officers say they located the person, who did not possess a weapon.
The department says this was communicated with the Bowling Green Independent School District, allowing it to release the school.
