Portion of Glasgow square to close for Monday night event

GLASGOW, Ky. – Glasgow drivers should be prepared for a Monday evening road closure.

According to the Glasgow Police Department, the north side of the downtown square will closed on Monday, Sept. 14 for the Thank a Farmer event.

Police say the closure will begin Monday afternoon at 4:30 p.m.

All vehicles parked on the north side of the square must be removed before 4:30 p.m,, authorities say.

Officers say the road is expected to reopen around 9 p.m. Drivers are encouraged to plan accordingly, use alternate routes when possible and use caution in the area.
