Bowling Green woman accused of impersonating a public servant

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green woman is accused of impersonating a public servant and forgery.

According to a uniform citation, the Bowling Green Police Department arrested 39-year-old Teoshia Hill of Bowling Green Thursday.

Police say the arrest stems from an incident in August, when they say Warren County District Judge Kimberly Geoghegan’s office obtained a document meant to release an inmate from custody.

Authorities say the document was attempting to release Brandon Bowen, an inmate at Henderson County Detention Center.

Police say the documents included Teoshia’s first name, her phone number and the initials “T.L.H.”

Authorities say the document stated it was sent as “part of a commitment assignment due by KY governor and state advocates.”

Police say the documents were faxed to Geoghegan’s office from a local library.

Authorities say footage showed Hill at the library faxing documents at the same time this occurred.

Officers say they spoke to Hill at her home on Thursday, and she admitted to faxing the documents but said they only requested a new court date.

Hill was placed into custody and lodged at the Warren County Regional Jail.

She faces charges of impersonating a public servant and second-degree forgery.
