The M&L Electrical Race for JA presented by J.M. Smucker returns Sept. 25

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — The M&L Electrical Race for JA, presented by J.M. Smucker, is back on Friday, Sept. 25.
According to organizers, the event will benefit Junior Achievement of South Central Kentucky.
The event offers businesses the opportunity to bring employees together through friendly compeitition while supporting programs that help prepare local students for future success.
Race sponsorships and team sponsorships are currently available and provide an exciting team-building experience for organizations across the region.
“The M&L Electrical Race for JA is an energizing event, and we are excited to bring it back in 2026,” said Lauren Griffing, President of Junior Achievement of South Central Kentucky. “This event celebrates the spirit of teamwork and competition while raising critical funds that support Junior Achievement’s mission of inspiring and preparing young people to succeed through work and career readiness, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship education.”
The race will be held at the NCM Kartplex at NCM Motorsports Park from 8 a.m. to noon CT. Participants will compete in a heat-race format and can experience kart racing. All racers must sign a waiver prior to participation. Closed-toe shoes are required, with no exceptions, organizers say.
Each participant will receive an event T-shirt, meal ticket and racing experience. Trophies will be awarded to top finishers.
The M&L Electrical Race for JA will be held rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, including tornadoes, flooding or lightning, NCM Motorsports Park will determine whether conditions require postponement. If necessary, the event will be rescheduled for Oct. 16.
Registration closes Aug. 15.
