$225,000 Kentucky Lottery ticket sold in Leitchfield remains unclaimed
LEITCHFIELD, Ky. – A winning lottery ticket remains unlcaimed after being sold in Leitchfield, officials say.
According to the Kentucky Lottery, a ticket matched all of the winning number from Sunday night’s Cash Ball 225 drawing to win $225,000.
Lottery officials say this is the games seventh top prize ticket sold in 2026.
According to lottery officials, the ticket was purchased at Ralph’s Market at 10718 Anneta Road in Leitchfield.
The winning numbers were eight, 21, 27, 30 and a Cash Ball number of 10, officials say.
In addition, the following winning Cash Ball tickets were sold this year, according to the Kentucky Lottery:
- In February, a winning ticket was sold in Hawesville.
- In March, two winning tickets were sold – one in Louisville and one in Versailles.
- In April, a winning ticket was sold in Louisville.
- In June, a winning ticket was sold in Fulton.
- In July, a winning ticket was sold in Shively.
The Kentucky Lottery advises winners to sign the back of their tickets and keep them in a secure location. The winners of these tickets must claim their prize at lottery headquarters at 1011 W. Main St. in Louisville. Winners have 180 days to claim.
