Kentucky State Police Post 3 trooper receives Governor’s Award

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police is recognizing Trooper Slate Dalton for receiving the Governor’s Award for Occupant Protection at the the 2026 Governor’s Occupant Protection Enforcement Awards Ceremony on Wednesday in Lexington.

According to the agency, Dalton is a four-year veteran with the Kentucky State Police.

The Kentucky State Police states Dalton’s efforts in ensuring drivers in the community are being safe on the road “do not go unnoticed.”
