Section of Bowling Green street set to close for storm sewer line repairs

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green street will close to allow crews to fix damage.

According to the City of Bowling Green, Kiwanis Street at Shawnee Way is closed due to a damaged storm sewer line.

The city says drivers should avoid Kiwanis Street at the intersection and use alternate routes. Shawnee Way will remain open during repairs.

City crews will be on-site working to repair the damage. The city says crews are “hopeful” of completing the repairs by Friday, August 14.
