Curated Closet celebrates grand opening with ribbon cutting

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Curated Closet held its official grand opening Friday, partnering with the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce for a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Organizers said Curated Closet is a high-end consignment store that buys and resells used clothing at affordable prices.

The store is located on the 1608 U.S. 31-W Bypass in Bowling Green, a location formerly occupied by Beverly Hill Bargain Boutique.

Curated Closet owner Rylee Peterson described her emotions during the ribbon-cutting, calling it a milestone in achieving her dream.

“It was such a surreal moment to finally cut that ribbon,” Peterson said. “We’ve been working so hard the past couple months getting this shop ready, and it is so exciting to see customers in there now. This is really awesome. I love shopping for secondhand clothing myself, and I’m so thankful I can provide this to the community.”

Peterson also noted the positive impact she hopes her business will have on the city for years to come.

“I hope that Curated Closet will provide a positive impact on the community by just providing a more affordable and sustainable option for a way to get quality pieces at a better price,” she said.
