1 ejected after crash involving two tractor-trailers in Christian County

CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. – Emergency personnel are responding to a crash on Interstate 24 in Christian County Thursday morning.

According to the Christian County Sheriff’s Office, deputies received reports of a collision involving two tractor-trailers at the 86-mile marker at 10:35 am.

CCSO says a westbound tractor-trailer crashed into the back of another tractor-trailer.

A driver was ejected after the cab of one of the trucks was pushed off its frame.

The driver was transported by Hopkinsville Fire/EMS to a landing zone to be flown to a Nashville Hospital.

The current condition of the driver is unknown.

CCSO says the westbound lanes will remain blocked during the investigation.
