Missing teen pulled from pond Christian County, flown for treatment

CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. – A juvenile was flown for treatment after being rescued from a pond Wednesday.

According to the Christian County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), deputies responded to the 2200 block of Long Pond Road to reports of a missing teen in a body of water.

CCSO says emergency crews located a 15-year-old female juvenile in the 10-foot-deep pond.

CCSO, Hopkinsville Fire/EMS, and other emergency personnel searched the pond and located the teenager.

The female juvenile was pulled from the water and flown to a Nashville hospital for treatment.

The juvenile’s condition has not been released.
