U.S. 31-W project near Kentucky Transpark now open

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – A project to widen U.S. 31-W in northern Warren County near the Kentucky Transpark is now open, officials say.
According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 3, all construction zone barrels are removed, and drivers are able to use the new lanes in both directions.
The project is not entirely complete, however, since there is still some minor work remaining, transportation officials say.
The project widened U.S. 31-W to four lanes from U.S. 68 to Mizpah Road.
A new RCUT was also constructed at Commonwealth Boulevard.
Cleary Construction was awarded the contract for $9.6 million in August of 2024. Construction began in November of 2024.
