Russellville man charged with manslaughter in crash that left 2 dead

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – A Russellville man has been charged with manslaughter stemming from a fatal crash that occurred last summer in Logan County.

According to a release by the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, on Thursday, July 23 around 5:30 p.m., deputies stopped a vehicle and took 25-year-old Dekamren Terry of Russellville into custody on an arrest warrant.

Deputies say the warrant was issued by the Logan County Grand Jury on July 22 following an investigation by the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.

Terry is charged with second-degree manslaughter and second-degree assault.

The charges are in connection with a crash that happened on Franklin Road in Logan County in August 2025, authorities say.

According to authorities, a vehicle driven by Terry was traveling eastbound on Kentucky 100. Authorities say a vehicle driven by 33-year-old Lee Bradshaw of Russellville was traveling westbound when the vehicles collided in a head-on crash.

The Logan County coroner pronounced the driver, Bradshaw, as well as a passenger of Bradshaw’s vehicle, identified as 28-year-old Jose L. Garcia Jr. of Russellville, dead at the scene.

One juvenile passenger was transported via EMS to The Medical Center at Bowling Green, while a second juvenile passenger was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Logan County Sheriff Stephen Stratton stated, “This has been a long and difficult investigation for our deputies and, more importantly, for the families involved. We know they have been waiting a long time for answers. While today’s arrest is an important milestone, the judicial process will now move forward.”
