Russellville Police Department warns of increase in thefts from vehicles

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – The Russellville Police Department is reminding residents of a recent uptick in thefts from vehicles in the community.

Police say a few simple actions can make a large difference.

The department recommends always locking your vehicle, never leaving your keys in the vehicle, removing valuables or keeping them out of sight and staying observant.

Authorities say if you see suspicious activity to report it to local law enforcement immediately.
