Kangaroo located in Kentucky, safely returned to owner

RICHMOND, Ky. – A kangaroo is back home safe after it was spotted in Kentucky this week.
According to an update on Friday by Trooper Justin Kearney, public affairs officer with Kentucky State Police Post Seven, troopers received a call regarding a red tail kangaroo just before 11 a.m. Thursday morning.
Kearney says the animal had been spotted between Berea and Richmond.
Troopers say they responded with Kentucky Fish and Wildlife to the Gibson Bay area and were not able to locate it at the time. Authorities say the kangaroo has since been returned to its owner.
