2 charged in Boyle County in connection with 1994 cold case

BOYLE COUNTY, Ky. – Two people are facing charges in connection with a 1994 Kentucky cold case.
According to a social media post by the Boyle County Sheriff’s Office, on May 19, a WCSO detective obtained indictments for Anthony Manning and Barbara Manning in connection with the disappearance of Anna Manning.
Authorities say Anna Manning was reported missing on February 25, 1994.
Anthony Manning is charged with murder, tampering with physical evidence and abuse of a corpse. Barbara Manning faces charges of complicity to murder, complicity to tampering with physical evidence and complicity to abuse of a corpse.
Barbara Manning is the mother of Anthony Manning, according to authorities. Deputies say Anthony Manning is the husband of Anna Manning.
Both Anthony and Barbara Manning remain at the Boyle County Detention Center on a $2 million cash bond.
The investigation remains ongoing.
