5 juveniles taken into custody following property damage incident in Hardin County

DUNKIRK, Ky. – The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an alleged property damage case.
According to a release, HSCO responded to the village of Dunkirk early Thursday morning to reports of individuals causing a disturbance and damaging property.
When deputies arrived, multiple individuals fled from a home in the area of the complaints.
Deputies ultimately located five juveniles following a brief investigation, according to the release.
The juveniles were taken into custody and transported to a juvenile detention center, where they await further legal action.
The investigation is ongoing.
