Man arrested in connection to Bowling Green shooting
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Police in Bowling Green have arrested a 20-year-old who is accused of shooting a man last week before being stabbed.
Henry Escobar-Castro is charged with first-degree assault and receiving stolen property-firearm.
According to police, during an altercation last Wednesday morning, Escobar-Castro shot a man using a stolen gun inside an apartment in the 2000 block of Rockcreek Drive. The shooting victim was later discovered on W. 13th Ave.
Following the shooting, police believe several witnesses tackled Escobar-Castro to the ground and stabbed him.
Police tell WNKY the investigation is still ongoing.
Escobar-Castro is lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail and being held on a $25,000 bond.
