Hosparus Health holds annual Senior Resource Summit

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Hosparus Health hosted its annual Senior Resource Summit on Tuesday afternoon, looking to show the community resources that are available.

A variety of those resources were on hand, from assisted living centers to the many health care organizations in South Central Kentucky.

Hosparus Health staff brought together these groups to not only raise awareness about services, but to emphasize one key message: knowledge is power.

“Anytime we know more about what we can do, the avenues we can take, the help that we can give, services that are offered. So many services are out there, and resources and people don’t know. So this is kind of a one-stop shop that we do annually just to get that information and accrue that knowledge,” Melainie Ford, Hosparus Health’s Community Director, says.

Staff hope to hold summits like these more often to bring even more awareness to resources that seniors may need in our community.
