UPDATE: 1 dead, 1 charged with murder in Todd County shooting
GUTHRIE – One person is dead following a shooting incident in Todd County.
According to WEKT, emergency personnel responded to Springmont Circle in Guthrie to a reported shooting at 9 am.
A man who was shot was found dead in the roadway.
The Todd County Sheriff’s Office told WEKT that a 24-year-old Jerell Edmonds was taken into custody.
Edmonds was later arrested and charged with murder and fourth-degree assault.
The Kentucky State Police is leading the investigation.
