Lexington man accused of kidnapping and robbing two men in Bowling Green
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- A Lexington man is behind bars in Warren County after police accuse him of kidnapping and robbing two men in Bowling Green on two separate occasions.
Deo Mpaka, 19, is charged with two counts of first-degree robbery and two counts of kidnapping.
Bowling Green police arrested Mpaka on Thursday.
According to an arrest citation, on January 6, Mpaka and another man are accused of forcing an individual to go with them and then making the victim withdraw money from an ATM.
According to the citation, on January 14, Mpaka and several men convinced another individual to get in a car with them. During that time, the men threatened to kill the person they had picked up. The individual was taken to an ATM and forced to withdraw money.
Mpaka is being held in the Warren County Regional Jail without bond. The investigation is ongoing.
