“World Without Cows” set to be screened at Chaney’s Dairy Barn on August 22

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A unique documentary is premiering here in Bowling Green, and it might make you say, “Holy cow!”

Alltech, a Kentucky-based company, is releasing a documentary exploring the impact of cows around the world… from culture and economy to nutrition and the environment.

The team interviewed farmers from across the globe for “World Without Cows,” showing both sides of the story and asking what the world would look like without them.

“It’s basically a documentary that does an excellent job of looking at both sides of the aisle, both sides of the argument. So I think that the fact that it’s making its way to Bowling Green, Kentucky is super cool just because it has a very documentary, very Netflix feel to it. But it’s here, it’s in our back door and it’s free. So it’s just a really cool opportunity for our community,” Elizabeth Lensford, a local representative of Alltech who serves as their Territory Sales Manager for Kentucky & Tennessee, said.

The documentary will screen Friday night at Chaney’s Dairy Barn. Activities start at 6:30, including a cow of their own that will be there for kids to see.

The film starts at sunset.
