Bowling Green man charged with manufacturing simulated substance

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man has been arrested in connection with a warrant.

According to a uniform citation, the Bowling Green Police Department responded Thursday to the 1200 block of Indianola Street to serve a warrant on 40-year-old William Hagan of Bowling Green.

Upon arrival, police say they located Hagan near Broadway Avenue and Indianola Street.

Authorities say a drug task force detective approached Hagan, identified himself as law enforcement and told Hagan to show his hands.

Authorities say Hagan refused commands and resisted arrest.

Hagan was arrested. Police say they searched Hagan and found a baggie of a white, powdery substance in his front pocket, which Hagan identified as “rock salts” that he had tried to sell for cash.

Officials say the substance did not test positive for any controlled substance.

Hagan was charged with manufacturing a simulated substance, first offense, along with resisting arrest. He remains at the Warren County Regional Jail.
