Man charged after alleged fraudulent bond scheme in Allen County
SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – The Allen County-Scottsville Crime Task Force arrested 35-year-old John Paul Burton of Scottsville after an investigation involving an alleged fraudulent bond scheme, according to a social media post by the agency.
Burton is charged with second-degree forgery and theft by deception – include cold checks $500 < $1,000.
ACSCTF says Burton is also charged with first-degree stalking, intimidating a participant in the legal process, and Harassing Communications in a separate investigation.
The investigation is ongoing.
