Celebrate Anyways hosted by Glory Baby Ministry set to take place August 16th

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – For three years now, Glory Baby Ministry has put on a party that the community can take part in, and it returns this weekend.

It’s called “Celebrate Anyways” and it’s meant to help those who have lost loved ones recognize the birthdays or celebrations they might miss.

Glory Baby Ministry calls it the party you never had the chance to plan, and it’ll feature chair massages and lots of activities for the kids.

In the three years it’s been going on, organizers say they’ve seen a lot of growth, and expect between 500 and 800 people to show up.

“We didn’t know what kind of impact this event would have on the community when we started the idea of it three years ago. We thought there’s a whole community of people out there grieving, and they feel alone in their grief, but they shouldn’t have to. They should be able to come together with the community and know that the support is there,” Jessica Heffinger, founder of Glory Baby Ministry says.

The event takes place Saturday, August 16th at the Buchanon Park Gym, and everything is 100% free.
