Man charged with drug possession, terroristic threatening in Glasgow

GLASGOW, Ky. – A Hart County man is facing multiple charges after police say he threatened an officer during his arrest.

According to the Glasgow Police Department, officers conducted a traffic stop Wednesday on East Cherry Street.

Police say they observed 45-year-old Michael House of Munfordville driving with a suspended driver’s license.

Officers say they located methamphetamine and a loaded syringe in House’s pocket. House reportedly resisted arrest, authorities say, spitting on an officer and threatening to kill them.

House was arrested and charged with driving on a DUI suspended license, failure to or improper signal, failure of owner to maintain insurance, failure to produce insurance card, no registration receipt, resisting arrest, third-degree assault/bodily fluid, third-degree assault of a police of probation officer, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of a drug paraphernalia, terrorist threatening, wanton endangerment of a police officer, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, second offense.
