Glasgow man arrested after allegedly hitting woman with vehicle

GLASGOW, Ky. – A Glasgow man is facing multiple charges after allegedly hitting a woman while driving a vehicle.
The Glasgow Police Department says it responded to Cleveland Avenue on Friday for a complaint of a woman that had been hit by a vehicle.
Officers say they located the female victim, who stated she had been struck by a vehicle that was driven by 33-year-old Joshua Miller of Glasgow and that he had been drinking alcohol.
Police say they located Miller and the vehicle that matched the description at a residence on Pocahontas Trail, where he was taken into custody without incident.
The female victim was transported by the Barren/Metcalfe EMS to T.J. Samson Community Hospital for minor injuries.
Miller was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of accident-failure to render aid or assistance, first-degree wanton endangerment, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, first offense, second-degree assault (domestic violence).
Miller was transported to the Barren County Detention Center.
